BLOODY WHEELS TORINO
Bloody Wheels is a women's team of Roller Derby, a "new" sport, at least in Italy, which was born from the commingling of the classical race on skates and that urban feeling at the root of many sports and disciplines that update old fashioned schemes in an outburst of pure instinct. Making a sign for this type of team meant synthesize an entire world, with its culture in a single drawing. Loving this kind of style, was pretty simple for me to get into it. Analyzing many types of "counterculture" I have celebrated the marriage through the most common urban sign of graffiti with the aggressiveness of punk aesthetic, the visual imagery of classic movies such as "The Warriors" and "Rollerball" and the distinctive colors of the team.
